Description.

The Aesir are collective names of the main Viking gods, those who lived in Asgard and on whom the lives of mortals depended. The group, led by Odin, was formed, among others, by the gods Balder (patron of beauty), Bragi (eloquence), Forsetti (meditation), Freyr, Hod (the blind god) and Thor.

The Aesir (singular ass, feminine asynja, feminine plural asynjur, Anglo-Saxon Os, Proto-Germanic Ansuz) are the principal gods of the Norse pantheon. They are related to Odin and live in Asgard, being mentioned under the generic term guin, "god". You can also find the Spanish version as Ases.

They appear in Scandinavian religion after the Indo-European invasions and were incorporated into a pantheon of older gods (the Vanir), rather than supplanting them. Traces of this fusion are found in the Voluspa, one of the main texts of Norse mythology.

Aesir is the plural of ass, oss "god" (genitive asir), which is credited in other Germanic languages, e.g. Old English os (gen. pl. esa) and Gothic (as Jordanes reports) anses "demigods" . All derive from Proto-Germanic *ansuz, which in turn comes from Proto-Indo-European *hensus (gen. hnsous) "vital force" (cf. Avestan ahu "lord; lifetime", ahura "divinity", Sanskrit asu "vital force", [3] asura "god" (< *hnsuro)). It is widely accepted that this word also refers to *hens- "beget" (cf. Hittite hass- "procreate, give birth", tocharian Bas- "produce"); In other words, the word sir is used for the gods in general, which is why we have decided to give our character this name, which represents the virtues and genius of the Nordic gods, as well as giving it a fantastic aspect from other European mythologies such as Celtic, making it a unique and versatile character.
