Young woman at check-in desk was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and bathroom was well stocked. There were a few stains on the carpet in one of the rooms. We had asked for connecting rooms, and this time, Hilton got it right. (Twice before we reserved them, but when we arrived, they weren't connecting). Lights on smoke detectors blinked all night. Wouldn't you think whoever designed this motel would realize how distracting blinking lights are to someone trying to sleep? Also, the toilet seat was so low. Hilton needs to upgrade to higher seats. After all, there's a lot of older folks traveling and the lower seats are a safety hazard in trying to get up. This was a very noisy hotel, being right on Main Street. Our rooms were 403 and 405 which face the side street, but we still heard traffic all night. Choose a room with a higher number and you might get a quieter one. My only other problem was the mushy mattress. With back and shoulder problems I need a firm mattress and this one was far from firm. Having said all that, the location was great, the staff were friendly and pleasant and the breakfast was very good. The one morning we ate there, they had fresh raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. With the price of raspberries who does that? They were delicious. Their toaster didn't work with my bagel, however, but I switched to toast and it managed to toast it without burning it.
